Sorry it's late

Well since I last wrote to you all I have been doing lots of walking and swimming. I have walked into Bournemouth from Charminster; I know that doesn’t sound too far for you all but for me that’s really good.

I have been in the Daily Echo which I have to say was a very strange day for me.

I woke up in the morning with Andy going to work as normal, and as Andy left I get a phone call. Still a bit sleepy I answer and someone says "We have seen your peace in the paper today and was wondering if you wouldn't mind talking live on air". Just to fill you in I know I was going to be in the paper but I didn't know when I was in the paper.

Of course when they asked me I was very excited about being asked to talk on the radio and being in the paper all in one day, so I said "yes when would you like me to talk". They said "great, we are just going to put you on hold for 2 mins, and then when we come back to you, your be live on air"

Now as I said I was still sleepy and on my own, I didn't have time to tell anyone what was going on and I was very excited but with no one to enjoy this moment with. From what I could tell it went fine. I was only on air for about 10 mins but it felt like 20 mins.

After that I went striate to the News Agent, and yes I know it's sad but I brought 7 copy's of the Daily Echo, which I was very glad about as all my friends took a copy. My mum got lots as well, but hey I'm guessing mums allowed.

After that Hope FM called me and said they would like me to come into the station and talk to them for 1hr.No mum came with me for this one and I have to say it was very strange but very fun.

I found it very hard concentrating on what I wanted to say, because there was so much going on in the studio. But from what I can tell form my friends and family it sounded better than it felt.

Now I have had a big break from all the Ben Nevis madness as me and Andy went to Australia for a month. Now I won’t go on about it to much, but let’s just say it was the best holiday I have ever been on. We did do a lot of walking and swimming, so it wasn't all sitting around.

Before we went we went to Snowdon again. Now I have to say I wanted to get to the cafe half way up, but if I didn't then I wasn't that bothered. As we went my mum and dad came with us but they wanted to get to the top. As I started to get really worn out I could see the cafe, but didn't think I could make it any further. I phoned my dad and said I can't make it and I'm turning around. As I put the phone down I get a text from my sister. It said "keep going Stinky (nick name) - you can go just a but further and then a little more :-) hope you have fun and see you soon” Now talk about timing. You guessed it I got to the cafe and loved every min of it.

It's times like that which makes me realise why I have asked my family to walk up Ben Nevis with me. It's my friends and family that is going to push me further than I have ever been pushed before, and I'm so excited I can't wait.

Well as I said this is it. We are all going up to Scotland tomorrow and are planning to have the nice little walk on Monday, depending on the weather. As soon as I get back I will write everyone a long blog to let you know how I do. I promise you all now I'm going to make it, all I need is to believe in my self. Wish me luck and I will write soon.

Love Caz
